Beat The Food Confusion

Food is a fuel.  It keeps our bodies warm, functioning, building, and repairing.  I have learnt over the past 10 years, how food impacts my body, let me share my understanding and see what fits for you.  How do you fuel your body?  How will your body repair and restore.  Let’s travel down the rabbit hole and see what you can do for yourself to feed your body properly, and gain optimal health, more energy, clarity of mind and of course journey towards a better future for yourself.

This is a photo of me 3 years ago – I was 13 kilos heavier.

Having extra weight is one thing, but also I was walking around with higher than necessary Blood Glucose Levels. I was doomed to a pathway of ill health. 

I had been exercising on my bike 100 k’s a week. I had been walking most days, and thought I was eating healthy.      Clearly  I wasn’t.          I’d begun to feel sore.     I’d begun to suffer from lower back pain.          Sometimes this made me sit on my couch all day.       It was’nt good.   The worst part is I thought I was doing the RIGHT thing in regard to food. 

I had a blood glucose level of 5.8.  Which is pre diabetic. I had elevated blood pressure readings and I had to do something about it. 

Now I am 13 kilos lighter and some, and I have more muscle tone. My lower back is great!          More importantly my blood glucose now sits at 5.  My Insulin Resistance is lower and my blood pressure improved very quickly.  This wasn’t hard to do.        I want to share this journey with you.         Let me show you how you can improve your health markers really quickly, and get off the weight gain train for good – food freedom is very real!

Feet Posture and you


The aches and pains in your knees and hips might be stemming from your feet. Each foot has 28 bones, 33 joints & over 100 muscles, so how they interact with the ground is very important! Your body shapes and structures itself from the ground up.

Feet that don’t move well can lead to ankles that don’t move well, to knees that don’t move well, to hips that don’t move well and to a spine that doesn’t move well.

Feet that interact with the ground in a conscious and functional way will support a more mobile and balanced body with more hip flexibility.

In this 2-hr workshop, discover how strong and limber feet may protect you from pain you may experience in other parts of your body.

Make friends with your feet and discover the intricate feet/hip connection with Chek Trained Coach, personal trainer and Pilates instructor Lynda Rose.

In this workshop you will:

  • Have a gait assessment to see how your feet are functioning.
  • Receive your own spikey ball to take home so you can release your feet at home.
  • Do a foot and hip workout.
